Ohio Department of Education Center for the Teaching Profession Information regarding licensure for education professionals. Applications for licenses are available to view and print. Interpreters will generally need the 5-Year License (initial or renewal) or the Substitute License. Current license information and the application status for individuals can also be accessed online.

Gallaudet University Extension Programs  Information about Gallaudet extension classes, including those being taught in the midwest region of the United States and on-line courses.

National Clearinghouse of Rehabilitation Training Materials Training materials created by publicly funded means and available to purchase for the price of duplication and shipping only, including interpreter training materials.

Sign Communication Proficiency Interview (SCPI) Sign language communication skills assessment

National Interpreter Education Center (NEIC) Coordinates activities for the National Consortium of Interpreter Education Centers, including five regional centers, to support and provide professional development for interpreters.
